Taylor Leedahl

Taylor Leedahl is the author of two poetic works: Hybrid Hibiscus (JackPine Press, 2012) and No Apologies for the Weather (Thistledown Press, 2008), which was nominated in the Saskatchewan Book Award’s Best Poetry category in 2008. Leedahl’s writing has been nationally broadcast on CBC Radio and appears in Fast Forward: New Saskatchewan Poets (Hagios Press, 2007).

Recently returned to Saskatoon after completing her MA thesis in Art History (Concordia University, Montreal), Leedahl re-joined the directorial boards of JackPine Press and Tonight it’s Poetry, Saskatoon’s weekly poetry, which she founded in 2008. Leedahl has spoken about her organizational work at Saskatchewan Arts Board and Saskatchewan Arts Alliance conferences and was twice keynote speaker for the Saskatoon’s Sage Hill Teen Writing Experience.
