Donna Kane

Donna Kane (Dawson Creek, B.C.) is the author of two books of poetry that were both finalists for the ReLit Award: Somewhere, a Fire (2004) and Erratic (2007). Her poems, short fiction, essays and reviews have been published widely in journals such as The Walrus, The Fiddlehead, and The Malahat Review as well as in several anthologies. A chapter, “The Gaze,” from her non-fiction manuscript, Summer of the Horse, was recently shortlisted for the Edna Staebler Personal Essay Contest and was published in The New Quarterly in 2016.
