Frances Hunter

Frances Hunter is a freelance book designer living near Victoria, BC. Her work has won numerous awards, including an Alcuin Society Award for Between Brush Strokes by Daphne Marlatt, published in 2009 by JackPine Press. Along with Field Hospital, Hunter’s 2012 Poems for an Oil-Free Coast (published by her own imprint, Red Tower Bookworks) featuring nine BC and Alberta poets and writers, was selected to tour internationally as part of the Art of the Book juried exhibition from CBBAG. She welcomes book challenges of every kind, even those requiring the production of 75 hand-made copies.
