Shanda Stefanson
Shanda Stefanson is a playwright, actor, and perennial performance poetry favourite at Tonight it’s Poetry and as a three-time member of the Saskatoon SLAM team. Her play Stalled received the Grand Prize at the Saskatchewan Playwrights’ Centre’s 24 Hour Playwrighting Competition in 2012, and premiered at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival in 2013. She co-wrote Our Four Walls with fellow poets Danielle Altrogge, Chelsea Martin and Shayna Stock, combining theatre and spoken word poetry for Thigh High Theatre and MuD Collective in Saskatoon early this year. She most recently performed her poetry at the Refinery in Saskatoon as part of Tightrope.
