When The Fire Leaves is a collection of poems that aim to express and dicuss miscarraige and loss, using the metaphor of a devastating but regenerative forest fire. Pages of poetry are bound against pages of black, white and red marbled paper evoking both blood loss and fire through cut windows that evoke the presence of the full moon. Bound with Chicago screws, book tape, and covered with glossy polyurethane resin, When the Fire Leaves measures approximately 5.5″ X 6.5″. Produced in a limited edition of 60 copies.
