Hybrid Hibiscus

Hybrid Hibiscus explores the concept of inter-species evolution through an unusual collaboration between an artist and her living environment. It includes tissue inserts of Hibiscus leaf rubbings sewn amongst signatures of original poetry in Leedahl’s own handwriting. With it, Leedahl doesn’t just talk to her plant, she writes with it.
